The past doesn't have to write your future.
Understand what's holding you back, and change it.
Psychology-informed therapy RTT & hypnotherapy for women navigating perimenopause, ADHD, and midlife. In person and online.
Hello, I'm Kate.
I'm a therapist, hypnotherapist, coach and RTT practitioner, with an academic background in psychology. My work centres on how thought and behaviour patterns form, and how they can be changed.
Before training as a therapist, I spent years in pressurised management roles, and I understand first-hand what it's like to hold everything together on the outside while struggling underneath. That experience, combined with my clinical training, shapes how I work with clients today.
If any of this resonates, I'd love to hear from you. Get in touch to find out more about how we might work together.
Areas I specialise in
Overwhelm and burnout - Are you high-achieving on the outside, but running on empty underneath? I help you find your way back to yourself.
ADHD - Whether newly diagnosed or navigating it for years, I help you understand your mind and work with it, not against it.
Childhood trauma - Early experiences can quietly shape how you think and behave well into adulthood. I help you make sense of these patterns and change them.
Midlife and menopause - A season of change that can bring confusion as much as clarity. I help you navigate it with a clearer sense of who you are.
About Kate
Together, we’ll make sense of long-standing patterns of thought and behaviour, then change the ones that are you, so you’re free to live and be who you want.
What this work gives you
Understand: we get to the real root of what’s going on for you-not just the symptoms, but why they’re there.
Accept: you learn to make peace with who you are, rather than fighting yourself.
Equip: you leave with practical ways to work with your own mind, that you can keep using long after our sessions end.
Free: free of patterns and beliefs that have been holding you back-able to live and be who you want.
Next Steps
I offer a free consultation before we start working together, because it matters that this feels right for both of us.
I’m also fortunate to have a network of trusted practitioners with different areas of expertise. If I feel someone else could support you better at a particular stage of your journey. I’ll always say so, because good practice is about getting you the right support at the right time, not being everything to everyone.
Services
Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT®)
Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT®) was developed by Marisa Peer, following over thirty years of clinical work. I was trained by Marisa in 2021 and I continue to be an accredited, licensed therapist.
RTT draws on ideas from several established therapeutic approaches, including hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and solution-focused work, and brings them together into a single method built around one goal: finding out where a pattern, belief or feeling actually came from, rather than just learning to manage it
How It Works
Most of us are carrying beliefs we formed a long time ago, often in childhood, that we're not consciously aware are still running the show. RTT works by gently guiding you into a relaxed state so we can look at where a particular belief or pattern began, understand what it meant to you at the time, and then reframe it from where you stand today. Change tends to happen faster than with traditional talking therapy. Most people need only one to three sessions to see a real shift.
What Happens in a Session
We start from a place of deep relaxation, which allows us to explore past events without the usual resistance or overthinking
Together, we uncover the meaning you attached to what happened, and the belief it created
We reframe that belief from your adult perspective now
I help you build new, more useful beliefs in its place
You leave with a personalised recording, designed to be listened to daily for 21 to 30 days, to help the new belief settle in
Is RTT Right for Me?
RTT has been used to help with a wide range of things, including anxiety, low confidence, phobias, weight and body image, and long-standing patterns that no longer serve you. It's not a fit for every situation, which is exactly why we start with a free consultation: so we can talk honestly about whether it's the right approach for what you're bringing.

Corporate & Schools
Supporting the people behind the work
I work with organisations who genuinely want to support their people, helping teams and individuals understand overwhelm, burnout, and the patterns that stop them from doing their best work.
For Employers
Practical, psychology-informed support as part of your health and wellbeing offer:
Workshops and talks on topics like overwhelm, burnout, and understanding neurodivergence at work
1:1 sessions offered as an employee wellbeing benefit
Support tailored to what your team actually needs, not a one-size-fits-all package
For Schools
Group sessions helping students build emotional literacy, understanding what they’re feeling, why, and how to work with it rather than be overwhelmed by it.
How it works
Every organisation is different, so we’d start with a conversation about what your team or students need, before shaping something that fits.
